The finalists for the 2025 Scottish Property Awards Deal of the Year, sponsored by PMP, have been revealed as the highly anticipated celebration dinner draws near. 

With just over three weeks to go until the event celebrating Scottish commercial real estate, the judging panel has shortlisted five standout deals. The panel will determine the winner, and they will be announced during the awards ceremony on Thursday, 20 February, in Glasgow.

Industrial Letting at Belgrave Logistics Park  - Knight Property Group, Wincanton, Ryden, JLL, Savills, Brodies, and DWF

One of the largest industrial deals completed in Scotland this year and the largest letting of a speculative new build since 2018 in the Greater Glasgow market.   This 126,960 sq ft letting to Wincanton delivers a custom high spec build with excellent environmental standards.   Completes Unit 3 in the 15 acre site which has regenerated the industrial economy around Bellshill.  

 

Investment Sale of Belgrave Logistics Park -  Knight Property Group, Swiss Life, Lismore Real Estate Advisors, JLL, Brodies and Pinsent Masons

 

This off market opportunity concluded swiftly and brought a successful end to this 15 acre speculative development of 5 industrial and logistic units covering a combined 261,193 sq ft.  Net Initial Yield 5.43%.

Fully let to four high quality tenants, The Mint Building comprises 59,427 sq ft Grade A office space alongside 11,040 sq ft of restaurant and retail accommodation. Deal reflects a net initial yield of 5.78%.

62,002 sq ft 10 Year Lease over 7th,6th, 5th and Ground floors. A substantial sizeable deal in the turbulent office market, believed to be the largest new city centre office letting since lockdown.

 

Inverness and Cromarty Green Freeport - Knight Frank  

 
This significant inward investment in a 15-hectare site to construct a subsea, high voltage, transmission cable manufacturing plant.  ScotGov have provided 24.5m of public sector funding towards this significant boost to Scotland’s green energy sector.
