The finalists in the national competition which celebrates excellence in Scottish real estate have been announced following entries from over 60 businesses dedicated to positive property improvement in urban and rural Scotland.

The 7th annual Scottish Property Awards has revealed the developments and teams which have progressed to the finals in 17 categories, many of which showcase newly developed buildings for public and commercial uses.

A judging panel of 18 industry experts reviewed and considered over 80 entries which featured hospitals, hotels, offices, schools and major regeneration sites across the length and breadth of the country.  Finalists include developments in the Orkney Islands, Aberdeen, Dundee and across the central belt.

Fiona Morton, chair of the Scottish Property Awards judging panel, commented;

“I am thrilled to see the continued strength of the Scottish Property Awards annual competition as an accurate barometer of positive developments in real estate.  It is hugely encouraging to see such high-quality entries from across the country again this year.

“Thanks to our highly regarded judging panel who worked hard in their detailed consideration of all of the entries.  Selecting the winners is a challenging job and I am grateful for their commitment and contribution.  We are all looking forward to celebrating another outstanding year in Scottish real estate at the annual awards celebration in February.”

Finalists in the Deal of the Year sponsored by PMP, will be announced in January after the deadline which is the end of the calendar year.  The winner will be chosen via blind vote by the judging panel and announced at the award ceremony in February.

The recipient of the prestigious Business Leadership Award sponsored by Bank of Scotland will also be announced at the award ceremony.

The Scottish Property Awards dinner and celebration takes place on Thursday 20 February 2020 at the EICC.  To book tables, click here.
